New incentives for turning lawns into sustainable landscapes are now available through the City of San Diego. In this issue, we’ll talk about how you can conserve water, reduce runoff and get the most out of irrigation – all while being reimbursed by the City.
Simply put, sustainable landscape turf replacements involve the removal of turf and replacing it with landscapes that require little irrigation.

Specifically, the four (4) main points of sustainable landscapes are:
Through its Sustainable Landscapes Program, the City of San Diego is offering a $1.75 per square-foot incentive to homeowners who live within the service area of the San Diego County Water Authority.
